Awarded by the UNESCO for its marvelous landscape, the Valdorcia valley is the most photographed area in Tuscany and a highly sought-after wedding location worldwide.
This is where the top Tuscan red wines, “Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano” and “Brunello Di Montalcino”, along with the top Italian sheep cheese, “Pecorino Di Pienza” are produced.Visitors crossing the valley will experience the real Tuscan essence, with the cypress trees, the vineyards, the farmhouses and the bell towers.
VALDICHIANA
Since dawn of Time, the valley has been a thriving agricultural area, which the Romans liked to call “the Granary of Etruria”. Up until the 18th century, the Valdichiana has unexpectedly been dominated by marshland, with the locals sailing from village to village.
Over the years it has become more and more popular due to the amazing Etruscan findings and the exclusive rural traditions, with the Hill Town of Cortona for Capital.
The symbol of the Valdichiana is the so called “Vacca Chianina”, aka “the White Giant”. A local calf which meat is one of the most precious on the market.

The property met all our high expectations for a beautiful hillside villa. The views of the lake were exceptional, and while our vantage point was secluded, the villa is also close to town for groceries, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We also made day trips to the lake islands, Arezzo and Siena to see the Palio.
The house was beautiful, well furnished and plenty large for the six of us. Nice kitchen, living and eating areas – both inside and out. Don’t let me forget the beautiful pool which we all enjoyed!
Hospitality from Redbriks and the services arranged were exceptional. These included the welcome dinner, cooking class at the house (really a treat!), and arrangements for a personal photo tour.

Location: This beautiful tuscan villa is located on top of a hill. The only sounds you hear are natures music.

Our family had a wonderful time at the villa. The layout of the home worked extremely well for us and we all enjoyed the pool, especially given the hot weather! The location was centrally located for our visits to the hilltop towns and we also enjoyed a kayaking expedition on the lake.
The pasta making class and dinner was quite a hit with everyone, including the two children and the welcome buffet was delicious and much more than we expected. Check in went very smoothly and Stephania was a very gracious hostess.
All in all, we had a great time and I would come again this week if I could.

The charming San Bernardino apartment in Passignano was the perfectly home-away-from home base for our fabulous trip through the hill towns of Tuscany and Umbria. The beautiful step-down apartment with all the gorgeous stonework and beams provided everything we needed for our stay; a great kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, tv, and much more. We were so comfortable the espresso machine was an added plus. Everyone was so professional and accommodating. The apartment is conveniently located one or two blocks from the lake, the grocery store and very nice restaurants.

We had a lovely stay at the beautiful Truffle Resort. The house, gardens, views and amenities were excellent as well as within convenient driving distance to everywhere we wanted to go in Tuscany and Umbria. Giusy is so charming and made a delicious dinner for us the evening of our arrival. We did have a little trouble finding the resort based on the directions given to us so we were a bit late to check in. Including signage info at the turn into the drive would have been helpful in the original directions, however, you did provide it when I texted you and we drove straight there.
Your staff took care of the paperwork and answered all my questions before we arrived so our experience was smooth and stress free.Don and I are returning to the Truffle Resort in April 2020 with other friends. We look forward to our next visit.

First of all, first class all the way. From the moment we arrive in Rome, we could not have asked for anything more:
* Driver – Luca could not have been more accommodating. His ever present willingness to meet our needs was perfect – the overstuffed van from airport, prompt pick-ups, knowing the ins/outs of where to park, grocery store stops (many) and bottled water and Baci chocolates everyday
* Villa – I want to move there. An absolutely perfect and most picturesque place. High upon a high top and perfectly appointed, I could not ask for anything more – pool, wine cellar, fresh eggs, a light fog in the morning, I still miss it. The owner was most accommodating along with his family. His mother even helped us cook pizza in the outdoor pizza over/kitchen. Between google translate, wine and hand gestures, it was perfect and she was beautiful. The dinner that was prepared one night was a 5-Star experience. Oh, and did I say his aunt made us a lemon cake for our arrival.
* Tours – just right and tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly, shared recipes and allowed for some of our own time. Restaurants were top notch although we did need to opens our minds to experience some of the local flare.
Julian and team on the ground were always ready, willing and able to meet our needs. Whether making last minute dinner changes, hailing cabs or tweaking itinerary, we could not have asked for any more.
Hats off to Dean too for connecting us with a trip of a lifetime. The villa, dinner at the villa, restaurant recommendations and connecting us with Julian and others on the ground, we could not have asked for anything more.
